MENTAL PERFORMANCE COACHING FOR GOLFERS
The gap between the range and the course is almost never a talent problem.
It's a mental game problem. And it's completely fixable. Jason Atha has spent his career teaching athletes and professionals how to perform freely under pressure - on the course, on the field, and in everything they do.

THE MENTAL GAME IN GOLF
Golf is the most mental sport in the world.
Here's why that matters for your game.
The Range vs. The Course Gap
You hit it perfectly in practice. You've done it a thousand times. The moment the round is real - the swing tightens, the putt lips out, the shot you've made a hundred times doesn't happen. That gap is a mental game problem.
The Yips Are Trainable
The putting yips. The driver that won't find the fairway under pressure. The chip shot that worked all week. These are not mechanical failures. They are trained mental responses - and trained responses can be untrained.
Pressure Changes Everything
The golfer who plays beautifully in casual rounds but tightens in competition hasn't changes their swing. Their brain has shifted from execution mode to protection mode. That shift is preventable - with the right mental tools.
Your Standard Is Yours
Elite golfers don't perform to the moment's standard. They bring their own. The player who performs consistently - regardless of the stakes, the gallery, or who they're paired with - has built an internal standard that competition cannot reach.
No teammates. No defense. Every outcome is entirely yours. The same swing that feels effortless on the range disappears on the course - not because your mechanics changed. Because your mind did.
"The mental game isn't just something I teach. It's something I've lived at every level - in elite athletics, in high-stakes sales, and in watching my daughter navigate competitive athletics all the way to an SEC commitment."
- Jason Atha
THE FRAMEWORK
Four concepts. Four weeks.
A complete mental performance foundation.
Every program - group or individual - covers the same four core concepts that separate golfers who perform under pressure from golfers who perform only when everything goes their way.
WEEK 1
Take Control of Your Thoughts
Identify the thoughts that fire automatically after a bad shot - and replace them with a single focus cue that keeps the brain in execution mode between every shot.
WEEK 2
Change The Way You View Failure
A bogey is not a bad hole. A bad shot is not a bad hole. Build the mental framework that turns every mistake
WEEK 3
Visualization
The same pre-shot mental preparation used by the best players in the world - made specific to your game, your course, and the pressure situations that cost you the most strokes.
WEEK 4
Overcome Self-Limiting Beliefs
Every golfer carries beliefs about their game they don't know they have. This week finds them, names them, and replaces them - removing the invisible ceiling that's been quietly costing you strokes.
PROGRAMS
Three ways to work together.

COMMIT - MY DAUGHTER
I played D1 baseball at Georgia Tech. I spent 25 years closing enterprise deals under extreme quota pressure at IBM and Xerox — consistently ranking in the top 5% of performers across two decades.
And then I became a sports parent. I watched my daughter navigate the mental game of competitive athletics all the way to an SEC commitment in softball. I coached her through every pressure moment — the showcases, the recruiting conversations, the games where everything was on the line.
Everything I learned about performing under pressure — in elite athletics, in high-stakes sales, and in raising a competitive athlete — I've built into a coaching framework that I now use with athletes and performers at every level.
The mental game applies everywhere pressure lives. On the golf course. On the playing field. In the boardroom. In the sales meeting. The principles are the same. The tools are the same. And the results — when the work is done — are the same.
